I thought the community would be interested in the following guide I found, which offers general hints without necessarily spoiling the solution of puzzles.

http://philome.la/IndieGames_Muso/tiny-incremental-hints-for-thimbleweed-park/play

It's a progressive guide in that it will give you a hint and allow you to ask another, and another, and another before actually giving away the solution. That way, it can give you the little nudge you are looking for, and let you explore the rest of the solution on your own.

At one point I was absolutely desperate and I searched for a walkthrough and I found this guide. I used it for a single hint on a single puzzle -- and it turned out to be a puzzle I had already solved in the past but didn't realize!

In any case, while following the hints, I realized that they are very subtle and go on all the way to the solution, but you only go as deep and spoilery as you need.

As always, I advocate that everyone avoid spoiling the solutions, but sometimes we all need a little nudge here and there. :)

Don't have the game but just wanted to say that's a pretty awesome way of setting up a spoiler free guide. Only gripe, that dark background and white text makes my eyes bleed.
