Is it possible to run Thief Gold on Windows 10 without TFix? There are some older fan missions that are incompatible with TFIX which I can't presently run due to reliance on it in windows 10.

yes, it's definitely possible, you can for example run win9x via vmware and play the game full retro in software mode.

I'll assume you are looking for a sane way though - the answer to that would be use TFix or TFix lite (manual install of 3rdparty scripts is required for lite), and request a fixup dml at the TTLG forum for those few fan missions that don't work properly (NewDarkloader actually auto fixes all known FMs issues, iirc).

also, TFix full can install legacy executables, and the DDFix exe migh work on win10, and may run those few broken FMs better. feel free to try.
