I just installed Thief 1 and 2 from GOG, which appear to have the widescreen patches included. Thief 1 is working fine, but Thief 2 is not. All the videos have flashing black lines running down them, and are running very slowly. The main menu also has these black lines.

I have not made any alterations to the game, including mods. I JUST installed both games.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated!

Thanks, but I really don't want to install most of what that patch contains. I just want to get this video bug fixed.

If it helps, I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, screen resolution 1920x1200.

I believe the other stuff in the patch is optional? By which I mean, you can choose to install the video fix only, or to add the other stuff too. Can someone confirm this?

everything is optional, just select what you want and let it do it's magic. most of that stuff is highly recommended though - can't imagine why you wouldn't want to have bugs fixed..
