Hello,
I wanted to play my GOG-Version of Thief 2 on my windows 10 OS, but during installation at some point I have to either "repair" or "uninstall" something called "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup" (twice), after which I receive error messages "Galaxy Client has stopped working". The thief 2 setup then tells me, that thief 2 was installed successfully. But when I try to start it, the game just crashes.
Thief Gold works fine. I merely had to install TFix in order to have the cutscenes work. Starting Thief 2 in Admin-Mode changes nothing.
Is there any trick to install it?
