HI again,

I haven't noticed any of the cutouts (right word?) between scenes like there were in Thief l. I played Thief 2 a long long time ago, but since I can't find the CD, I just now purchased it again.

How do I get the cutouts? I tried installing the Patch, but there was always an error...

I guess I meant the cutaway (?) scenes where Garrett is narrating what is coming up/going on, etc. I tried to download the Universal patch, which would give me the version you recommended. However, there is always an error message. Something about seeing patch_text or some such.

I don't know what to do. It loses something when it just goes from one mission to the next with nothing in between.
