I haven't played it yet, I'll have a chance the next time I wont be bound to my crappy laptop, and try it on a stationary PC (but who knows, maybe it will run on my laptop).
Its a standalone mod made by Thief fans, based on the Doom 3 engine.
From what I've seen though, its pretty impressive. There is a lot of fan missions already made, more being made ;]

So, If someone is up for some more sneaky-thievin action, check it out! Especially since its free, and fan made, so its definitely worth your time if you're one of the people who dont like what the big devs are doing with the franchise.

The Dark Mod was developed by a solid group of professionals and talented amateurs from all over the globe. Most were motivated by their love of Thief 1 and 2, and saw the mod as a way of delivering the stealth experience they wished T3 had been. Since The Dark Mod was released in October 2009 the team has continued to put out updates on a regular basis.
Oh, and it also runs on Linux ;]
