Hi guys, i just applied the TFix mod, i followed all the instructions, and removed the game from protected folders. The patch applies, but i don't get any of the new textures, i "only" get NewDark, DX9 and Widescreen compatibility and new water and skies, but i get no new textures at all. Any idea why?

What exactly did you do when you removed the game from the protected folders?
Usually, you have to install the game to a custom location and then apply TFix. Copying the files after you've installed them might break path references.

remember, the "new" textures are just slightly better T2 style textures, still lowres by today's standards.

also, TFix is not a mod, it's an all-in-one patcher that includes (some) mods.

*for voodoo47* i don't know... it's the first time i play Thief Gold, so maybe i need to check out some videos about it.
