I'm not looking for tech support. The purpose of this is a heads up kind of thing.

I recently played T2X: Shadows of the Metal Age and overall the mod is very well done. Easily at a level that is close to professional production quality except I ran into a sever technical problem.

Every so often every other line of pixels would shift. It made the picture a little blurry and the text very hard to read. Then I found that it wasn't the game itself that had become corrupted but the video card output. In other words, everything thing was affected. The game, the windows start menu, the desktop, and everything else had the same problem. The only way to fix this is to reboot. One time it went so bad that it triggered the first blue screen of death I've seen in years. This isn't acceptable for any type of software.

Maybe I waited to long to sit down and play this mod. It was designed for an operating system no higher that Windows XP. I'm using an AMD CPU, ATI video card, and Windows 7 64 bit.

So, unless you're still using Windows XP or have an old laptop setup as an old school gaming platform I don't recommend this mod. I wish I could but that tech issues is to sever to ignore.

I did try swapping out the old VP3 codec it comes with for VP8 but that had no impact.
yeah, there is no way the expansion pack would cause such issues. back your stuff up, some part of your computer is dying.
