as the T1 version has been made available today (with the T2 version updated), I believe it's a good time to post this here. features;
-very complete (not many unupdated textures left)
-also updates AI, object and HUD textures
-nicely balanced overall looks
-compatible with the orig maps (works great with TFix)
-decent performance even on older hardware
-advanced NewDark effects
-available for both T1 and T2
do note that the textures are not completely true to the original - they look darker and sort of harsher, but that was the author's intention. one way or another, if you do not mind the different tone, this is the hires texture pack of choice if you do not want to go with hdmod for one reason or another.
if you have TFix, just drop the NecPro.crf file to your Thief folder, edit cam_mod.ini and change usermods into NecPro, save and exit, all done. next version of TFix will load it automatically.
