As the title says - do I need to install TFix or anything else after installing the game through Galaxy?

edit: Derp, forgot to specify which I'm game I'm asking this for - it's for Thief Gold, but since I plan to play Thief 2 once I'm done I guess the question applies to both games.

engine version wise, the galaxy build should be up to date if memory serves, but there is no real reason to not go for the full deal (TFix), now is there?

Thanks for the answer. My intention was to get all the enhancement packs and I just wasn't sure if they're already included in the GoG builds or not. Now I know :).

I thought the GOG version had a version of TFix from about a year ago (without all the extras) and hence an old version of NewDark. Or has it since been updated?

last time I've checked, galaxy had the last package I've submitted - at the moment, this package is slightly out of date (NewDark v1.22).

I think you don't need anything if you just want to play the game - GOG version should only consist of obligatory fixes, nothing more if memory serves right, so if you want 'more' - you will need to download things from sticky topic in this forum section.
