I just installed the latest Thief Gold (and patch) 2.0.3.

I noticed that "Goal Notifications" under Game Options was set to "Off" by default. So, I turned it on. After finishing a couple of missions, I realized I wasn't getting goal notifications. So I turned it off and received 1 (one) goal notification, then none after. I have toggled it several times and can't seem to get it to function correctly. I've never had this issue before, so I'm wondering if the latest patch may be the culprit.

It's not a major issue, but a piece of the game is not functioning regardless. This post is an FYI and also wondering if anyone has figured out a fix for this issue. Thanks.

this is original behavior - T1/TG only notifies when the objective has changed. T2 also notifies when the objective has been completed (or failed). so everything is working properly.

Wow, has it really been that long since I played? I completely forgot T2 added that. Thanks!

Also thanks for the work on making T1 better still... am playing through again to prepare for T4 and your work is making it a lot more fun as a replay ;)
