Hi there,

I hate to always be asking questions because i has been such a long time since I played, but, here I go again...How do you 'use' the glyphs? I have looked at Walkthroughs and they don't mention how to 'use' them. I have tried clicking on the glyph and I just get the same information from Garrett.

It is rather frustrating to be so close....

Also, I can't seem to ffgure out how to mark someithng as being solved. I did that before...

Thanks.

You just frob them. If that doesn't work, maybe it's a glyph that's not meant to be interacted with. (E.g. red glyphs are inactive.) What does Garrett say? Can you post a screenshot showing a particular glyph (and its surroundings).

Which mission are you on, and which glyphs are you talking about?

Assuming you mean the elemental talismans, you only use them in one mission. If you aren't sure if you're on that mission, then you're not on that mission. You use them somewhat like the lockpicks: go to the location where you are supposed to use a particular talisman, cycle to it in your item list, then a click should move it to the center of the screen. Center the screen directly over the area where it is to be used (the area should highlight), then click again.

It might be the "Use Item" key instead of a mouse click. It has been so long that I don't remember.

Mouse over the post with the answer, and there should be a button saying something like "Mark this post as solution". You have to be in a thread that you opened as a question before the "Mark as solution" button will appear.

Hi there,

What does "frob them" mean? The glyphs I'm referring to are the ones that are bright blue...

I "mouse over' a response to see if it will me select anything and nothing happens that will allow me to state that the problem has been solved/question answered.

Thanks
"Frob" is just the same key you use to pick up loot and other items. The right mouse button by default.

Do the glyphs look like or [url=https://www.dropbox.com/s/rn65gwc22zi2t4x/glyph2.jpg?dl=0]this? If so, frobbing should do it. Otherwise what is the information you get from Garrett?
Ignore everything I said above about the glyphs. I was thinking Thief: Dark Project, not Deadly Shadows. My bad!

Check the attached screen shot. Hover the cursor over the post in question, and you should see something like the button I've outlined.

You need to be logged in, and the thread needs to be a thread you've opened as a question AND that you haven't marked as a solution yet (so this thread, for example).
