I was checking out Thief a few weeks ago on Amazon but I never bought it because of all the problems with getting it to work on Windows 7, widescreen, movies etc. I never played Thief before and I heard a lot of great things but I don't feel like working to hard to make this work.

Thankfully GoG just released it and my excitement is rekindled.Now I just want to know, are all the previous problems still present? Can I just download thing game and play it and not have to worry about this exploding in level 2-3? I just need this to work. Full screen, Widescreen, playable, Thief. I am incredibly lazy.
