Hey, can somebody please add a working T2X mod to the game, maybe as a beta channel?

When I install the T2XHD mod it plays one time and then the game, even the basegame, wont start anymore. It just crashes without any error message.

Any suggestions?

If you're refering to T2X: Shadows of the Metal Age, then I don't see that happening, as it's pretty much "just" a fan made campaign, albeit a fairly big and rather popular one when it came out.

You can run it pretty much like any other fan mission using FMsel, if you get the version that got repackaged as one instead of using its own native installer.

just responded to a similar question on the steam forums, so I'll paste it here;

ok, wipe everything clean and start over, and once you have the game cleanly patched with T2Fix again, go get the latest ready to go package from the bottom of the first post here (see "standalone FMsel compatible T2x package") and load it per instructions. I would recommend going straight for the NecroAge version, it neatly eliminates the sometimes less than ideal texture work of the vanilla build.

also check the few available extras (same google drive folder as the T2x base build), like interactive candles, safe4work, and enhanced skies (ignore the water though), those can be loaded as mods using the modmanager that was installed by T2Fix.

you also may want to update the contents of your T2FMDML folder if you want to be sure your fan mission fixes are up to date, go here to get the latest zip (click Code/Download ZIP).

and the NecroAge build is superior to the hdmod version, imho.
