When I start up the game it loads fine, no problems. When I get to the main screen and am prompted to enter my name, after entering it I can't get anywhere. Pressing the enter key does nothing.

I've tried both enter keys, I've tried mashing it, I've fiddled with the graphics settings even in the hopes that it will help, but nothing.

Win 7, 64-bit, please help :(

Same issue here, running Windows 8 Preview, 64-bit.

I had the same problem, but fixed it by changing the graphic options. Go to the Graphics Mode Setup through the Start Menu(Opening it throuh the GOG folder gives an error). Try configuring the options until the game runs smoothly. For me, I changed the graphics mode from surface to overlay. I have Windows 7 64bit.

Tried all the different ones and it still hasn't worked.

Same here, this was my first experience with GOG, doubtful that I will even buy another title from them.

Tried changing graphics options. Nothing has helped. Would really like some help here.

It's been just over a week and still no luck. I have gone through and tried all of the graphics options, every single one and it hasn't worked. I sent a support ticket last Friday and got the following response on Wednesday:

------Please try different settings of the "Graphic mode setup" application, found in the game's Start Menu group, and let me know if any of the settings helped. The group (folder) can be found under Start -> All Programs -> GOG.com.

If that doesn't help, please right-click the game's shortcut, go into Properties, click the Compatibility tab and try different compatibility modes as well.------

Which was pretty darn unhelpful. I responded that I'd tried all the graphics settings and all compatibility and have yet to get another response.

If I get anything back I'll post it in here in the hopes that it'll help someone at least.

I finally managed to enter my name the other day, try playing around with the caps lock and numlock buttons.

I managed to get my name entered after disabling Num Lock! Brilliant :D

Tried everything, from removing caps lock/numlock to changing graphic settings to trying different compatibility settings, still can't press enter after typing in my name.

Awesome! Looks like NumLock was my issue as well!
