What is Corsix TH?
For those of whom are unaware, Corsix TH is an open source attempt to recreate the Theme Hospital engine compatible with modern PC hardware. As the developers do not have their own art and sound teams, they make use of the original Bullfrog game assets. In short this means you need the base game to run it.
On the upside, this project brings about high resolution monitor support and better stability for modern operating systems than the DOSbox versions.
How do I make Corsix TH work for me?*
Firstly, purchase and download GOGs release of Theme Hospital. Install it to your hard drive (I've heard the default install path causes problems in some GOG releases. Install it to C:\games\ just to be sure). Next, download Corsix TH from Here. Install it to the default directory. Once it is installed check the 'launch game' checkbox and click finish. After a short loading process, the menu will appear. Tweak the option if you want, then click the play button. A file browser dialogue will pop-up asking you to direct it to your Theme Hospital directory. Do so, and enjoy.
