I have just purchased the game and downloaded it onto my mac and it goes through the intro and settings then just gets stuck on the board game screen. I'm very disappointed, can anyone help?

Simply left-click when you're in the board game screen and the game should start. If it doesn't, then, yes, you're most likely experiencing a bug, but most people having that issue don't even try to left-click, they tend to assume the game froze because there's no mouse pointer and nothing is moving.
