Is there a way to extract t the sound effects from the game? I looked in the sound folder but they are in a file format i can't play. I want to use a few of them for my stream sounds.

deffinetly there was such tools. i dont remember if their game spcific (bullfrog games specific) or it was general one tool. as for general there is game unpacker (newer, has paid and limited free version) and dragon game unpacker (old unrelated to other).

lurking for such specitic tools dont exclude Playstation games tools. Sometimes PS extractors work on PC versions and vice versa. Also emulating or coding/mods wikies for consoles cover pc games specific tools too.

usually playing sounds are easier than extract. there is more just viewers/players in addition to advanced extractors.

i can try contact one guy who make some improvements to one of russian dub game version, how he open the file.
