My understanding is that right clicking with a mac is ctrl+click. this is not working for me, not rotating furnature and stuff, Very difficult to arrange things (especially in rooms) when nothing can be rotated. like the receptionist's desk...

Any ideas?

Rotating objects (Mac)

You didn't say what mouse device you are using.

Yes I'm having the same problem, with my trackpad. also in help file it suggest 3 finger tap on trackpad but that doesn't work either - looks like it rotates it for a split second then put it down as it was.

You are correct!
Using either trackpad or apple magic laser mouse, both get the same result.

Both the trackpad and the magic mouse can have right-click, but you must enable it in the system preferences under mouse or Trackpad. Right-clicking with the mouse is accomplished by clicking the upper right corner of the mouse surface (you might have to lift your fingers from the left side of the surface) and on the trackpad you either click the lower right corner or tap with two fingers.
