Ah, well that's the problem. You're running it outside of DOSBox, so nothing is mounting the CD. Unless you want to deal with a lot of technical stuff yourself (configuring DOSBox yourself), you must run the game through the shortcuts the installer places on the desktop and the start menu.

Those shortcuts are actually shortcuts to DOSBox, with instructions to run a specific configuration file that is set up to autoboot the game.
