Hi,

I've never played this game, but after reading reviews and viewing some videos on Youtube, it seems I've missed something. I'm considering buying this game, however, there is one thing preventing me from doing it right now: the game length.

From what I've heard, there are only 10 levels and in each level you just have to cure a few patients.

Is the game really that short or does it have any replay value or something?

Thanks

It has a lot of replay value due to the humour, and it's not short, since it gets devilishly hard later on.

I've never actually finished the game, despite owning it for 5 years.
I've never finished it either, it gets really difficult. The levels take longer and longer to beat, I can imagine the last few probably taking over an hour each.

over an hour? is this on max speed or something? I'm spending about 2+ after the infamous epidemic level D:

Well, I can't remember that well so I was estimating on the cautious side. You're probably right!
Definitely not a short game, plenty of replay value. I've never once considered using GOG but as soon as I saw Theme Hospital for sale I was all over it.

Definitely worth the money.
Like many others here it would seem, I have never finished the game, but have reached the 3rd-, 4th, or 2nd-last level on at least five separate occasions. Definite replay value.
I haven´t finished yet the game without some cheats... I´m trying it seriously now.

The epidemic level was really absurd. After having the hospital nearly empty for patients during 3-4 years even being the best hospital, best reputation, etc, I had serious money issues because there wouldn´t be any patients. I slowly start to recover once they start coming at last. When I can put to rest the bank loan, I get 4 consecutive epidemies, one of them of 32.000 money cost. I went from recovering to being nearly losing the level. As I kept the hospital in good condition, I managed to recover all the losses before the closing of the year... If not it would have been a game over...

And I remember the two next levels were A LOT harder... So yeah, it may seem short, but it´s really hard and it´s one of those game you replay once every year or couple of years, enjoying the fun until the game crush you forever :)

I remember even failing the later levels with all research done and infinite money, is that crazy when you go up...
yeah up old thread.

There is some formula with reputation, money, cost of services. On most levels you can stay all costs to 100% (from reputation i guess, or maybe some else). On some levels if you already achieve high reputation - above 700, you can try to reduce prices to stay patients population for same high level.

Or versa way. If you see that yur hospital overruned by patients and you think you hospital not ready for that - increase prices >100% in "notepad" screen. Dont excpect mush income, cause already diagnosed patients may run away (even after completly healed! they just *fk of* your doctors\nurse!)
