Hi, i've purchased theme hospital few days ago for Mac and i want to change the language from English to Spanish. I know how to do it in Windows because there are some threads about this question but I don't know how to do it in Mac.
Can someone help me? Thanks

Flying slightly blind here as I've not used a Mac in about two years. But this should hopefully help (Thank heavens that dmg files can be extracted in 7zip in Windows, else there's no way I'd have been able to track this one down). I am of course assuming it's possible to edit files within application packages on Macs, I thought I remembered doing it before but can't find any reference to it at all. But here goes.

Right click (or ctrl-click) on Theme Hospital.app (the shortcut you use to start the game) and choose "Show Package Contents". Then, navigate to Resources\Theme Hospital.boxer\C.harddisk (in the file I have it's Contents\Resources\etc. but I don't think it's displayed in the same way in-OS). There you will find HOSPITAL.CFG, which you edit in the way mentioned in other threads, i.e.

LANGUAGE=ENG for English
LANGUAGE=SPA for Spanish
LANGUAGE=FR for French
LANGUAGE=GER for German

etc.

Then you should be good to go.

I just tried this solution in Mavericks but after the change when I try to run the game I'm getting an error message: '"Theme Hospital" is damaged and cannot be opened, you should put it in the trash'

I'm just editing the HOSPITAL.CFG file and saving it.

Hello, I don't know why this doesn't work for you Yeyo53, but I figure that in an OSX 10.etc... the way to find HOSPITAL.CFG is a little more complicated !

Here the way:

In "Theme Hospital.app" (the shortcut you use to start the game), choose "Show Package Contents". Then, navigate to:

Contents/Resources/game

Here, you find another "Theme Hospital. app" and you have to do the same as the begining :
choose "Show Package Contents", then, navigate to:

Contents/Resources

Find the "Theme Hospital.boxer" and choose "Show Package Contents" again. Here, navigate to:

C.harddisk

And you will find the famous "HOSPITAL.CFG" !

You can open it with "Textedit" to do the language modification Slanzinger talked about ! ^^
