Is there any way to adjust the sound of this game it is really loud compared to everything else on my pc

I have the same question. This wasn't answered previously, so I am going to try again to see if anyone can help. I tried adding the line:

mixer master 20:20

to the DosBoxTH.conf file hoping to significantly reduce the volume, but that didn't help. Anybody have a suggestion?
