In full screen mode there is no change to the desktop but I can hear the intro playing. In window mode the whole window stays black, I can hear the intro and can click to bypass it. I'm then still stuck with a black screen but can hear the cursor rolling over the menu buttons, which can be clicked and used as usual...

I came back to a 15hr playthrough hoping to finish it but naturally cannot now.

My system is windows 10 with a GTX770 GPU if that helps. (Drivers up to date, Windows up to date, game up to date via Galaxy)

Verifying the game files did not fix the problem.

Hope someone can help? Is there a settings file I need to tweak?
