I understand they wanted to recreate the feeling of actually rolling dice, as it's a pretty big part of the physical game, but in my opinion they didn't succeed.
The main problem is that half of the time you can't even see what you rolled until the assignment screen pops up because the dice are all over the place, so it's not really exciting to watch if you get that crucial sword or something. In additinn, it's kinda slow and the physics freak out sometimes, making it look silly.
I feel they should either confine the space in which the dice are rolled, and speed them up a bit, or just remove the simulation of the physical dice roll altogether and replace it with some kind of slot-machine like thing on the dice assignment screen (for example).
