Title says it all, after the intro movie the game closes into desktop. anyone have the same issue? any fix?

My game simply froze twice during the cinematics. The first one was just as Geralt was about to wake up in the main storyline and the second was when he was putting down the skeleton from the well. I have to force closed the game and quickly spam spacebar just as the cutscenes appear. In fact I spam the spacebar to every cutscene hoping to avoid this freezing bug.
