Hi,

I've just installed the Witcher 3 GOTY edition on to my new laptop but even on the lowest graphical settings the FPS hovers between 10 and 15.

My spes:

Dell Inspiron 17 5000 series
Windows 10
Intel Core i7-7500U
CPU @2.70GHz
5.2 GB available out of 8.0 GB RAM
AMD Radeon R7 M440, with Radeon Crimson 16.12.2

Is the laptop just not up to playing the game, or is there something I can do?

The Witcher 3 is a very demanding game even for gaming desktops. A 2.7GHz laptop with shared RAM ain't going to cut it.

what you have to have to work the game in the lowest settings:
64-Bit Windows 7 oder 8 (8.1)
Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3,3 GHz / AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940
Grafikkarte: GeForce GTX 660 oder Radeon HD 7870
DirectX 11
6 GB RAM
40 GB Speicherplatz
