Hello everyone
I can't seem to load witcher 3, I tried galaxy and that didn't work, and now neither does the GOG down loader.

Everything goes fine, until I double click the icon. All I get is either a black screen for half a second, or an error message saying windows has found a problem with this program?

I tried looking at some other posts, and I thought the FIX for Galaxy post might have something, but when I copy the code and turn it into the registry file, I can't reopen it, instead I get a cannot import error: cannot import , this file is not a registry script, even though I followed the FIX Galaxy's posts instructions.

My laptop is not a gaming laptop, its basically a couple millimeters above a potato for gaming, but its the only one I have so yeah.
it has i7 Core at 2.4GHz with an intel hd graphics card on windows 8.1 64 bit

Can anyone help?

Integrated graphics doesn't cut for this game man, it simply won't load. There is no fix for missing hardware unfortunately.
"
I double clicked the game, nothing happens.

on GoG, the play button is green. I clicked, but nothing happens. Nothing is launching.

I am Win 8.1."

There was a fix for this problem, but not sure if this is your problem:

1) If you have GOG Galaxy Client, uninstall it.

2) Then click start button -> type "cmd" -> right click "cmd.exe" and click "run as administrator"

Type :

sc delete GalaxyClientService
sc delete GalaxyCommunication

So the GOG background services are removed from you PC.

3)
Go to the game folder / bin / x64 and delete or rename galaxy.dll... Launch the game, a error dialog will pop out but the game actually runs.

4) If all fails, reboot PC, some found this worked from them
