I fixed this by going to my bin>x64 folder and deleting the following two objects:
d3d11.dll
dxgi.dll
I had a feeling as I stated earlier that it was something to do with the .dll files updated today. Try it and see if it works.

My experience is kinda weird... when I pressed F2 on "d3d11.dll" file (to rename) and I typed something... after I pressed ENTER, whatever filename I typed disappeared off that folder. Not only that, "dxgi.dll" was gone too, and I had 2 previous backup versions named dxgi(1).dll and dxgi(2).dll.
But whatever the case, now it starts up fine.
ps: GOG Galaxy was running when I did the steps above. Interesting, maybe...
