SendNudes98: I just brought the DLC Blood and Wine from G2A and when I went to redeem the code from GOG.com it said I needed the base game to get the DLC. i have the game on steam. how do i get the DLC. any help please
The only way for you to get the Steam version of the expansion is to buy the Steam version from Steam. You cannot use the code you bought for the Steam version, that is only if you bought the GoG version of the base game. So you bought a code you cannot use, unless you buy the GoG version of the base game.
by the way, you should have waited a little bit longer and you could have gotten the expansion pass for $15 on Steam on the next sale, or got the Blood and Wine expansion for $10 on Steam if you don't need/want the expansion pass.
by the way, you should never buy from places like G2A or any other grey market, buying from the grey market means there is a high chance you are buying from people who stole the codes either physically, stolen credit cards, or through credit card fraud by the way of identity theft. Those places have also been known to sell credit card information to the black market.
