i've re-download Witcher 3 1.06 (GOG installer) and download 1.1 manual patch

since GoG Galaxy messup with update (can't get latest version)

after i've installed the game ,when i try to install 1.1 patch it's just stuck about 10% of update and froze
in Task Manager said it 'Not responding'

i dont want to risk it un-finish ,i'm afaid it will mess up the game and save or something.

how to fix this?

already fixed , just wait until it finish 'not responding' for a while...

since i've install the game via SSD for 40GB is like 5-7minute ,but this patch 1.1 it not- responding like 10 minute and then finish.

The no responding is just to wait that the patch 1.10 complete the installation, my was succesfull after 30 minutes or so, so my advise is patience and wait.

Thanks fellow players, I was having this issue and until I googled, and found this thread, I thought I had a serious problem. I did what you suggested and after around twelve minutes the installation completed. And that's installing from one SSD to another. Well, hopefully others inquiring about this problem find this thread.

Yep - same here. Running Windows 10, manual install... and Patch 1.10 took what seemed like forever to finish.

I had actually closed it thinking it was done, and then Patch 1.11 would not complete.

I had to completely uninstall game, then re-install, then do patch 1.10 again (and be patient & let it actually finish), and then I was able to install patch 1.11.

Complicated way to do things... probably should have just used GOG Galaxy install.
