I'm so stuck in my 3D software all the time that I don't often take the time to play games, so one game can take me FOREVER to complete - if I complete it at all.
For example, I still play the original Neverwinter Nights and all of the expansion SP campaigns to relax. What can I say, I love the mechanics.
So I started The Witcher (1) a long time ago and still haven't finished playing it. I get stuck somewhere, unsure how to get any further, and start over. No complaining since I just love that game!
Well, I also love music scores. I'm working on making a fully CG movie, kinda the appearance of watching a 3d game being played - sort of thing - and am slowly working toward writing some themes for my movie score. Anyway, I love the music from The Witcher series.
When my son bought The Witcher 3 for his PlayStation, knowing my love for musical scores, he gave my the soundtrack CD that came with it - I still listen to that all the time, and then I also bought the In Concert movie they sell here - worth every penny, and a LOT more! Fantastic!
Okay, so now I've finally installed the GOTY version of the game and started playing through it. Wow! A game that sports music that I love throughout! It's amazing how much it helps to dictate emotion.
I'll be playing along and the score kicks in, and I'm in total bliss-mode! I love it!
Truly, this whole series is such an inspiration to me. The amazing art and music supplements have been all over my computer since I bought the games, even though I haven't found the time to actually play them. Time to change that and get playing this incredible saga!
