It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Both screens are taken without mods installed but it's the same thing with mods installed too. I'm on 1.31.

(can't post full links, sorry, just had the https: at the beginning)

Really don't know how to fix it, if it's a bug or it's just intended and it's just me discovering a well known thing after maybe 100 hours. Already used the "verifying files" thing, nothing.

Well I've found the solution elsewhere. I don't think I can set my own question to solved, so I hope for some mod/admin that will do that for me.

I discovered (thanks to two people who answered me on Steam on the same topic) that that way of blocking dates back to the Middle Ages, it is not a bug or a mod, it is just made so that Geralt holds the sword in his hand in that way. Basically, it's just something that's like that because it has to be.
The idea is that putting your hand on or near the pommel gives you more control over your blade, so you can absorb the incoming force better.

So yeah, 100 hours and I'm learning this just now. lol
