I have installed the base game v1.11 with the DLC v1.11 and Heart of stone v1.11 manually because i cant get galaxy to work. Currently patch 1.12 is out ( replacing previous 1.10 to 1.11 patch), with DLC v1.12 and Heart of stone v1.12 as well.

My questions is what do i have to do to update the game to 1.12 manually ?

1. patch 1.12 only updates the base game. So I need to download DLC v1.12 and heart of stone v1.12 again. And do i just install DLC v1.12 and heart of stone v1.12 or do i have to remove previous version.

OR

2. patch 1.12 patches base game with DLC and Heart of stone all together. which i believe is unlikely because not all players owns heart of stone.

The base game is 1.10 not 1.11. You need to download the 1.10 game installer, the 1.12 patch, and any/all DLC installers, which are 1.12. Update the game in this order:

* install the 1.10 game
* apply the 1.10 --> 1.12 patch
* install the 1.12 DLCs

Done.

The currently i already have the entire game with dlc and heart of stone at v1.11 (I clean installed at v1.11)
Your method is effectively a clean installation of the entire game. Which I'm trying to avoid.

Then you should have made that plain in your first post. If you have the game patched to 1.11, that is not the "base game". So, back to what you need to do:

* Download the 1.12 patch
* Download the 1.12 DLCs (must be done, else you'll get issues)
* Patch the game to 1.12
* Install the 1.12 DLCs

Done.
