After downloading the game & playing with NO issues for about 5 hours on patch 1.02 I upgraded to 1.03 over the weekend & now the game will not launch at all. No error messages, nothing other than it showing in task manager as "running". I then removed the game installed it again & ONLY installed patch 1.01-1.02 & the game opens & runs fine, as soon as I go to 1.03 it wont launch. Something SERIOUSLY was changed in 1.03? Also tried 1.04 with no success.... =(

Specs:
Win 7 x64
Nvidia 970 4GB (3.5)
Newest drivers
12GB RAM
Core i7

Double click EXE & nothing happens

What I've tried with zero success:
Reboot
Remove & reinstall game
Downgrade Nvidia drivers
Set affinity on EXE to all cores
Ran EXE as Admin
Installed GOG application
Removed GOG application

Your right,I'm still using 1.02 as I watched the forum for 1.03 bugs.
Outside of re-installing,next time wait for the patches to see the
effect or reaction from the forum. If using Galaxy then I can't help
as I don't have it installed.
Yea, I'm not using Galaxy & I've tried a million different things & nothing is working. Whatever they did in 1.03 REALLY messed it up & I'm seeing a lot of those with 970 cards having the issue. If you have any posts to the issues specifically of not launching W/1.03 I'd love to see a link. Thanks!

Well,1.04 is out maybe that has fixed some of the 1.03 bugs.Again will wait
for reaction from forum:-)
Staying on 1.02 for a while longer.
***FIXED***
Please keep in mind your mileage may vary as numerous people have tried numerous things & all sorts of different things worked for some & not for others. Here is what I did & it's working great now.

Install the game & patch it up to 1.04 after successfully patching to latest version go to the following path (C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin) & add a ".OLD" to the folder called "ddi" (Example: ddi.OLD) this folder houses a DLL file called "GOG.DLL" that was preventing my game from launching after patch 1.02.

***WARNING***
Remove the ".OLD" BEFORE UPGRADING to next patch because it will completely ruin your game. The patch will partially complete and then give an error message saying it failed with errors pointing to "C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\ddi.OLD". You can not run the patch again & the game must be completely re-installed. Good luck!
