rtx3090
i711700k
32gb ddr4@3200
At 1440 dlss made zero difference with RT on. Turning off each RT option one at a time did nothing either.
Switching to 1080p and switching RT on crashes the game. Can't reload any saves(game crashes) unless I go in the options first and turn off RT. So basically, unless you can toggle Frame generation, RT doesnt work at 60 fps. So, and I'm assuming the devs knew this, Whats the point with this update. Isn't 90% of the 4.0 update user mods, integrated into the game?
Update:
Since attempting RT at 1080p, game will crash if any attempt is made to enable RT in 1440p. So much for testing fsr
I think thats it for me and CDPR. I mean ya, Witcher development has been a challenge and, yes, I had to wait 1.5 years for Cp2077 Work mostly but now with this update, its too much. The 4.0 was meant for the 4000 series and CDPR should have told their LOYAL fans instead of doing what they did. I mean this really smells like a collaberation with CDPR and Nvidia to sell 4000 series cards. I have read what the devs currently think the issues are and what they are going to do about it and from what Ive read in the forums, almost none of the real problems are being addressed Unless I am wrong, and these REAL issues are going to fixed, I am done with CDPR. Fixing an Issue with RT in Intel Graphics Cards? Really? Must think we are all stupid
