Has the Gods (Eternal Fire or Melitelite or Freya) ever claim to be the God that created the world in the beginning? Any citations on the game lore?

Eternal Fire = Cult ~ Inquisition.

The rest: simply interchangeable, one as bad/good as the other.

In this game: a thorough mix of mythologies - glad Geralt does not bother!

I have never read any of Sapkowski's books but from the game series I understand that history and the origins of the world are more of a 'scholarly' discussion rather than a mythological one. It involves magic and stuff but no gods. Indeed, the religions in the game are quite interchangeable and are there only for their role in society.

As far as lore is concerned, I only know that in the beginning there were only the elder races like elves and dwarves, and then there was the conjunction of the spheres which introduced humanity, magic and a whole bunch of ugly-ass monsters. I don't know what happened before all that.

zquarter: Has Jesus?
Jesus is not in the witcher's universe, He is in the world called planet earth. Jesus was in ancient Israel called Palestine. Jesus is a Jew, the God that become a man to pay for the sins of man. Yes Jesus is the creator God from the beginning.

I believe the creator God in the witcher's universe is Sapkowski and CD Project Red.

Look at all the people and how they behave in the Witcher universe. Even if there were any gods, do you really think anyone cares about their teachings? They burn herbalists at pyres. What would Melitele say?

No Jesus is not world creator and not a god even in Christianity (put aside prophet Isa thing :) ). Check with religious books if you intrested. And Freya not a jew, not a man and not a world creator.

My point was - many gods never claim they was a demiurgs and many other who realy was, they never claim semself a gods. So you have searched black cat in a dark room wich don't have any, with your question.
