I for one am not wearing my tinfoil hat, squinting at screenshots of false comparisons and looking forward to seeing how gorgeous The Wild Hunt will be on my system.

Well, I've seen Xbox One and PS4 gameplay videos from The Witcher 3 so far. Both of them looked a lot worse than The Witcher 2 ultra+ settings (not to mention the ubersampling = 1 effect). I really hope there will be some way to mod the graphics on PC to surpass those...

Cdprojektred do.. Which is why they've made several presentations on the topic to industry insiders. Most players care about graphics too. What are the most common types of game mods? Graphics mods! (and nude mods, which are also graphic :)

Let me rephrase it then, who the fuc* should care about graphics when it's a freaking open world Witcher game..

Frankly, I don't care to much about the downgrade, the game still looks very detailed.

What I do care about is the graphics style, especially the colors. The original presentation was all about a realistic, detailed and dirty graphicstyle. A very fitting style for a down-to-earth game like the Witcher set in a pseudo-european medieval. It even reminded me a bit of stalker, which is imo the standard when it comes to atmosphere in semi-openworld and shows how wonderful a bit of well tuned realism can work.

Current footage on the other hand looks cartoonish, somewhat mismatching the detailed environments of the game. Especially the gras feels at points like a foreign-body stuck to the ground. Really not a fan of the changes, earlier presentations looked a lot more atmospheric.

i will not post the link, but if you search for a pc ultra french streaming, maybe you will have your answer, you can also try to search on neogaf, even you cannot write on it. (Proud to be a NEOGAF)

Anyway i think at CDPROJECT are tired of this question so if we want an answer the best way is to keep this post clear and respectful

The previous Witcher games received updated graphics a while after release, so I assume they will make an enhanced edition of this as well. No need to worry.

I hope so.... cuz PC > consoles so we should also try to get max of our pc hardware ;)
