Do I really hear people upset with CDPR because pirates are stealing CDPR's property?

But now some have started doing it again (this time politicians), so I think we need another round of head offing.

You also have to remember culture. In some cultures it's considered an honor to be copied/pirated etc etc. Stopping piracy isn't that simple. If it were we'd have done it a long time ago.

Software pirates aren't stealing CDPR's property to honor CDPR. They do it for the prestige it brings within their own circles. Yes, a selfish reason. Although I understand your point, I do not believe it applies here.

No please don't, I'd like to think CDPR is not one of the developers that goes after small time downloaders with nuclear bombs.
I bought the game could care less if someone else gets it free, and I'm pretty sure it'll sell well enough.

Ryuubei: Never be able to stop this. Hell as soon as the game launches on the 19th you can garuntee it's gonna be uploaded as a torrent. It's just the way DRM free games go. Deal with it, get over it, and move on. You don't see the dev's beating their chest and crying "woe is me".

They accept it's gonna happen and move on. Hell IIRC Witcher 2 was one of the most pirated games ever, but they still sold enough copies of the game to justify the 3rd, and make a shed load of money. Despite everyone knowing the game would be available as a torrent Witcher 3 has still sold over 1million copies.

That should tell you everything you need to know

I agree, I mean robbery, rape and murder are about in the same league as software piracy after all.

Also I propose next we hang all internet trolls I don't see how we can reign in that problem otherwise.

And this is why it's a f'd up world. Sometimes you have to force people to change their culture if that culture is wrong. I can't believe you condone slavery or honor killings. Guess the world lacks morals today.

So who decides whose morals are right? Society? Yeah cause society gets everything right!

I don't condone honour killings, and in my country (UK) it' illegal and anyone who does it gets slamed. However we don't have the right to go to another country and say 'your morals arent ours, so your wrong. We're going to force you to change'. NOONE has that right, thinking like that has lead to just about every major war we've ever had, and it never solves anything.

People should just stop sticking their noses into places it dosent belong

I agree with this. I've been in several forums today and it's 90% "the game keeps crashing on PC" and "this game runs like crap on my i7, 16GB, 970 PC", then partly certain issues like passing a turn in the Gwent game causing the game to crash on PS4 (I had this too) and myself and some other players have also had a problem where the game won't update past 1.01. I've also had the quite funny but also disappointing thing of Geralt's buddy Vesemir riding along on an invisible horse.

All in all its okay for me on PS4 but the PC version sounds like it could turn out to be a disaster for you, some people saying it's crashing every 10-15 mins or so.

people should buy this game,
but buying something without trying it is not the best idea - there is a thread on this forum where left-habded guy tried to bind keys how he likes. and couldnt, most of them are hard-coded. then he tried to get a refund, but because he already downloaded game 30-day refund wasnt working.
So i can understand why people use torrents today however if they didnt pay for a product they like... thats a problem.
