I decided to install this rather than the game with all the updates. When starting, the options are New Game and then the DLCs. If I select Just New Game, are the DLCs integrated? And if so, is it possible to start just the game first, then each DLC is sequential order? I looked at the options, and did not see it, though I clearly could have missed it. Thanks!

All expansions are played within the main game. They are treated as high level quests, meaning you start them from obtaining information from the Seven Cats notice board. They will tell you in no uncertain terms that to start them early is sure death (HoS ~lvl 30ish, B&W ~lvl 35+).
