Just finished the Battle of Keir Morhen, which included recruiting Hjalmar who was accompanied by Vigi the Loon and Falon (which was a nice surprise to see these other two guys again after saving them in the Lord of Undvik quest). At the conclusion of the battle it made me a bit sad to read in the post battle character update that Vigi's death had been scripted as a casualty of the battle.
I know Vigi was only a minor character but I remember the scene where, having freed him in the ice giant lair, he immediately rushes up to the ice giant and kicks him to awaken the giant to initiate combat. I don't know why, but that scene made me howl with laughter and for me has so far been the funniest scene in the game. I know his name is Vigi the Loon but i guess it was the sheer incredulity of anyone, including him, doing that was I think what made me laugh. (i must admit It took me a couple of failed attempts to free Vigi until I realized that the trick to success in obtaining the prison key was to avoid treading on the snow so as not to awaken the ice giant). After the ice giant battle was over I immediately went to Vigi's character sheet to read all about him as I wanted to know more about him. I also liked the camaraderie scene later after the ice giant battle where Hjalmar, Vigi and Falon reminisce about the battle.
I did notice a minor bug though when I spoke to Hjalmar at Vesemir's funeral, Hjalmar referred to himself as king when in fact, in my game, his sister Cerys was on the throne.
