So, I read a BIT on the internet that Phillipa Eilhart plays a part in the assassination of Radovid. Now I need to know the following: if I let Triss go with the mages during "Nor or Never" and she had Phillipa's Crystal cause I did not give it to Radovid at the end of "Redania's Most Wanted", does that prevent me from finishing off Radovid in the end?

Do I need the person I gave the crystal to around? Cause if so, I might have to change my plans to making Triss my main love interest in my first playthrough since I really cannot stand that disgusting guy to live.

Hi, I did exactly the same, I completed Triss's quest prior to founding the crystal.

And yes, you need Triss to be around to give her the crystal in conversation. And sadly, she is not around in Novigrad anymore even if you tell her to stay after completing that quest.

But no, you don't need to give it to her to get rid of Radovid as there will be another option to get rid of him later in the game.
