Hello there,

I am absolutely amazed by this gorgeous game, but after some hours of playing, I've got a few questions the game did not explain to me. So, it would be nice if some of the more experienced players could help me with those thoughts:

(a) What happens if a weapon's durability reaches 0%? So, does it just become useless until I repair it or will it actually break and be lost forever? I'm panicking around with 12% left and try to avoid enemies because I don't want to lose my gear, is my fear justified or exaggerated?

(b) The big spoiler Question: Does the main quest end the game or can I continue playing afterwards? No spoilers please, but I've read the ending shall be quite... ending. So... Without spoiler: Open ended or done after the main quest?

(c) Do the DLCs (the two big AddOns) take place in the main game world or are they played separately?

(d) Are all the resources like special metal / meteorite / whatever stuff limited or can I sell everything I find and will still be able to gather rare resources later on?

...I think that's it for now. My fingers are itching, have to go play again. Thank you!

EDIT: Oh, and - is there some way to open the map or the inventory directly or do I have to go the full way every time?

(a) The lower a weapon's durability, the less chance you have of actually hitting with it. You don't want that. You *really* don't want that.
(b) You may still go back to the game, to a point before the final battle, but anything to do with the main storyline, including quests and characters, are no longer available.
(c) Yes, they all take place in the main game world.
(d) You can usually find everything, since merchants stores will recycle over a period of time. Be careful what you do sell, howerver!

There are shortcut keys for most things. From memory, the map should be 'M' and inventory 'I'.

Okay, so..

(a) Thank you, but this doesn't answer my question - can weapons break to not?
(b) Okay, so the final battle really ends the game somehow. Then I'll do all the side stuff first, thanks!

and
(d) I mean something like "for this crafting item you need the trophy of one special unique boss fight" or something..

(a) The weapon becomes useless, it does not break and disappear.
(d) There are certain items that you need in certain situations, yes. Those items can usually be found again, like fiend dung for example. Completely unique items that are absolutely required are marked as quest items, and you cannot sell them.
