So saw a bunch of wolves and a warg by the road, and decided to attack them. Some soldiers were passing by and helped me out. Much thanks. Then as I started looting the wolves, they turned hostile and attacked me.

Is looting wolves regarded as stealing or something? I don't understand.

Looting is stealing, the soldiers and guards don't take to it kindly.Wait for them to walk away.

I liberated an area and then wanted to loot the enemies .... guards attacked me. -.-'

The guards will start getting peeved at you as soon as you draw your sword. Just listen to their comments.

If I am unsure if they will see looting or not - I open a crate and wait to hear negative comments. If I hear nothing, I take the contents.
