To finish this quest it says read the note but I don't seem to have the note they want me to read. is there any remedy to that or will it have to remain an unfinished quest? treasure found in bottom of lake Skellig quest level 13

You get the note from the boat where you killed the bandits. The note is called "Torn piece of paper".

Hickory: You get the note from the boat where you killed the bandits. The note is called "Torn piece of paper".
ok thank you, well it seems mine is no longer there in my inventory so I'm out of luck for that quest, I've no idea where it went and if I accidently sold it there is no way I'm going to find it now.
