Hi, the game doesn’t show up at all when launched, no black screen, it shows up under task manager ‘details’ Panel but I haven’t found a way to access it.

I just installed a new RTX 2070 after using 970 then onboard gpu for a while so I’m wondering if there are any temporary files it’s using? Old settings etc..

The problem is also happening with Metal Gear Solid V on steam, I don’t know what the common denominator is.

I’ve tried reinstalling the game, deleting user settings in the witcher 3 folder in documents (although I think through cloud saving it restored it all) I’ve got all the c++ redists from when I had the 970 and ran it fine. I’ve tried exiting GeForce experience, setting it to use the card under CUDA in 3D options.

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

So for anyone who also has this issue, I seemed to have found a fix:

exiting galaxy. lmao.

Not sure why, but I'll continue investigating and post back if I find anything.

Tun off the in-game overlay. It causes issues for a lot of people.
