Hellp, i have repeatedly tried to play trough witcher 3, But everytime i try once i get to the first werewolf quest the saving becomes impossible, it just flat won't save, this is the 3rd attempted playthrough on the gog version. I'v opened the permisions on my windows defender. I'm looking for a genuine fix this is getting rediculous. I'v never had this much issue with steam

Maybe you have too many save files, try to keep under 30 , I usually move save files after each play, and keep only few, also try to disable overlay/cloud save from galaxy.

Update, i tried to delete the save and to no avail. Once i reach the "WIld at heart" questline the game flat will not save, it doesn't even tell me i can't it just flat won't save. I'v disabled synce, overlay and yet the game flat will not save. I spend alot of time in this game. someone please help me i'm so sick of starting over : /

You can try contacting Support. The number of save files should not be a problem. I save frequently and might have hundreds of save files by now. :p
