So there have been times I would have liked to have taken some screenshots in game but I can't.

I am wondering if I am logged into GOG Galaxy but launch the game from Steam so I can use the overlay and screenshot feature, will I still get achievments?

Wouldn't know about the achievements, but when I switched W3 out of the default windowed borderless and into fullscreen; I could take them.

Pays to tinker with settings, always. Noticed the inventory crash bug was because I limited my fps to 60, when unlimited it would be over 200 in menus.

Oh ok. Well I havn't had any issues with crashing or anything. I will try launching from Steam while being logged into GOG Galaxy and see if it might still give me the Achievments.

I can now happily confirm that if you are logged into GOG Galaxy and launch Witcher 3 from Steam instead of through GOG Galaxy you do in fact still get achievments!

I was pleasantly surprised this worked. Now I can run GOG Galaxy and launch through Steam and know I will still get achievments.

Wow that is unexpected... But cool though!

I got my first achievement when I launched Witcher 3 through Galaxy. Now I'll try from my Steam shortcut just so I can take screenshots (need this in Galaxy) and chat with my friends (need this in Galaxy too :D)
