Kinnikonnie: I accidently started the quest while doing another quest and have "investigated" the areas a little, but not everything. After I realized the quest was for a much higher level I stopped and went on my way. Now, so after a long time, I came back and tried to keep investigating. I know there is a log and some destroyed barrels that will give me a scent to follow, but they are neither marked red in the witcher sense nor can i investigate them. I do not have a previous savegame so I need to know if there is any way I can force the quest to continue (I am stuck on the find out more about the second merchant part) or if I can console command a reset on the quest. Otherwise I dont see the possibility of finishing it.

Kinnikonnie: I have tried "forcing" myself to continue it (finding the blood in the field), but I do not know where the silver scale is. I will try that and see if it maybe updates. I do not have engaged in dialogue with the count after the initial conversation. He is just sitting there at the first dead body. Is he important to trigger a special event?
