I am currently at white orchard and playing my second run through the game, but i noticed that the places of power in white orchard aren't giving me any ability points, that is kind of a huge deal for me.

Anyone knows something about that?

Come closer to stone. Not where it becomes "usable" , stay within a step from it. Hold use key (default "E") until you actually get a point.
Had it myself, no bug there. Just be near, better if you're staring at the side with a sign symbol.
